About us

A house first, a hotel second.

Stayora is run by one family and eleven people from the hill, in a timber house that has been taking in guests since the 1960s.

We kept it small on purpose. Sixteen rooms means the front desk knows your name by the second morning, the kitchen remembers how you take your eggs, and there is always a seat by the fire. We are not a resort — there is no pool, no spa and no DJ. There are good beds, hot water, long walks and very quiet nights.

  4. 2024Opens as Stayora — sixteen rooms, one courtyard, one very old fireplace.
